Guys and Gals, if you haven’t read our Juju Hats blog, then you might not know that our collection comes with a very colourful history. You see, all of our products are made in the West of Cameroon by rural African tribes. You know that saying…your vibe attracts your tribe ? Well actually, it’s kind of the other way round for us. That’s right, our tribal art is handcrafted with care and manifesting beliefs, making for not only cool home decor but also for thoughtful gift ideas.

Namji Doll

So let us tell you about Namji Dolls. Namji Dolls have a wonderful history and significance in West Africa. Traditionally, they are given to women and men as a symbol of fertility and good fortune. In rural parts, some women actually strap the dolls to their backs and carry it around with them. They are believed to come with protective powers and are often passed down within the family.

Nowadays, Namji dolls at just as desirable. Adapting a more modern take, they make eye catching accessories for the home and abundant gifts for loved ones. We’ve even gone and created a book ends version. So, whether it’s for Love, Luck or Joy, we’ve got you covered!

Now, you may have also seen our Tikar clay beaded bracelets. These beauties are actually made from wood, covered in clay and then glass beaded beads are attached in an array of bright and beautiful colours to create a subtle African piece. What many people don’t seem to know is that these are often gifted amongst lovers as a symbol of their love for each other. While they’re not believed to have any prosperous powers as such, they are very symbolic when it comes to commitment. On top of that, we’ve made sure that our bracelets stands are made with the best quality wood to hold its weight. Did someone say unique wedding present ?
